WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup Super Round and Placement Round to open on Thursday, September 11

The first and second-place finishers of the Super Round will compete in the World Championship Stadium at Okinawa Cellular Stadium on Sunday, September 14, at 16:00 (local time). Cellular Stadium will host six of the nine Super Round games. Korea will play all three night games at Nishizaki Stadium in Itoman.

Germany took the lead three times and had the potential winning run at second in the bottom of the seventh. Panama prevailed in a three-way tie with Australia and Germany thanks to a better TQB. USA and Chinese Taipei finished first and second in Group B. Japan, Korea, and Puerto Rico qualified from Group A. Korea will complete the game against South Africa on Wednesday, September 10.
