In 2018, he received only 7.3% of the vote, and his rise to 78.4% in 2026 represents the largest increase in National Baseball Hall of Fame voting history. Carlos Beltran (through the ballot) and Jeff Kent (a Contemporary Baseball Era Committee selection) will join him at the July 26 induction ceremony.
